I like the idea of using pastel colours combined with black as this is likely to create a cover that links to your genre of music, while maintaining an element of sophistication. I think that the pastel colour scheme will work well with the black. I also think that the target audience is really realistic and I think the mix of fonts will work really well.
The target age range seems appropriate, though generally magazines keep to a single style of font rather than using a variety of them, for consistencies sake more than anything. It may result in it looking disorganized, though obviously it's hard to tell until you've finished the actual design.
Some really good ideas, I feel that by using creative fonts, you could over do it, so try to keep a simplistic feel. Also after looking at some of your mockups, try to make sure that the cutting out on the magazines is good, so the picture stands out. Other than that it sounds very good.
