This is the name i have chosen for the title of my magazine, one of the reasons for this is that it is a simple name and will not limit anything that i put into my magazine as it would if my title was something like 'pop' or 'indie'. I have also chosen this because i think it is a good size as it isnt too long but it will cover the masthead space for it to go at the top of my magazine, i have done a few ideas of what i want it to look like. Some of these fonts are my favourite from the font research that i did before with a few added others, i like these fonts because whichever i chose i think would create a style for my magazine instantly but i would be able to use different ones with them.

These are the different fonts that i have looked at. I like them because some of them look simple and the others are a bit more pretty and girly but i like these also and it would appeal to my market as it is going to be more aimed at girls as i am thinking of having a female artist and focusing on them. I like the 'Sweet Steffie' one because of the italics style on it but i also like the 'blake' style because it is a bit more different, individual and stand out.

Magazine Inspiration.

These are the magazines i have looked at for inspiration, Billboard and Vibe are the two main ones i have focused on. These have helped me to decide on some things for my magazine , i think i want a mid shot for my photograph on the front. I also wanyt to use pastel colours as shown on a couple of these photos , i like the blue and the pink toogether. I also think that the magazines in these pictures with more coverlines look more interesting and like they have more in them, but i also like them  if they look simple which is what i think the pastel colours help to do.

Magazine Contents

Audience Profiling.

Age:  My magazine is going to be aimed at teenagers and maybe a bit older maybe people around the age of 16 to 21. 
Gender:  My magazine will be more suitable for females because of the artists chosen to be in it and the fashion influence. The pastel colours will also attract more of a female audience than male.
Likes: The likes of the audience for my magazine should be a variety of different pop and RnB artists. I think they should also be interested in fashion, this would be for men and women but many celebrities and artists are fashion icons now and this would be another reason why people would be interested in buying a magazine.
Music Preferences: The music i am looking at and will base my research on is mainstream music so it can be a few different but popular things but my double page spread will probably just be about one artist so my front cover will have a variety to attract different readers.

Colour Pallete

For the colours of my magazine i think i want to have one colour standing out more than the others. I think this is so that if i want part of my text on my magazine this will help it to stand out more and attract peoples attention. I am going to stick to the usual style of having three different colours, i have looked at various magazines and picked out a few that i like the colours of to help me decide on the final three colours i will use on my magazine.

 This magazine 'vibe' has inspired me to use one colour that stands out because as you can see here there is always one colour that stands out and draws your attention to certain peices of the magazine. Looking at this top picture and the bottom two, the bottom two appeal to me more as i like the backgrounds that arn't white and the more pale colours rather than red on black and white.

Here are the colours i am considering to use , i like them because they are pale, simple colours but with either black or white they will look good, the magazine above has inspired me to use these.
